Winter 2015

Some photos of this record winter:

Here in Marlborough, we have had 36 inches of snow followed several days later with 8 inches. 4 or 5 days after that, we got 14 inches. A week after that, 8 inches. The following week, today, it snowed probably about a foot – hard to tell exactly, because it was blowing so much.

We have abandoned the sidewalk and our walkway to the street:

7 foot snow pile in the side yard:

2-1/2 story icicle. The main part of the icicle measured 12″ x 24″.  I estimate it was 20 cubic feet of ice. Guessing 1200 lbs. I beat it with a hammer out the top floor window and about 2/3 fell off.
